Foxxes: http://www.foxxes.co.uk/music
Melodic hardcore band from Cardiff. Their new EP noiseless is one of the best UK releases this year. We have been a fan of Foxxes since the release of their Winter Alone EP back in 2010 and its a shame it has taken us this long to get them down south. But we are prond to kick of the new year with such an awesome band.
Acres: http://acresuk.bandcamp.com/
Portsmouth’s new favourite sons. Since the band formed in the summer of 2012, things have just gone from strength to strength for these guys. Their EP is like early Devil Sold His Soul mixed with modern day screamo bands like Pianos Become the Teeth. Definitely not one to be missed.
Sending Lights: http://sendinglights.bandcamp.com/album/stow-away

One of the biggest DSTM show’s in a long time in a very small venue. There is an early curfew on this show but that doesn’t stop it from being an awesome show. Bringing some of the best UK bands together as well as one awesome European band.
Pariso: http://pariso.bandcamp.com/
The kings of #UKswell/ Pariso are a bit like marmite, you either love them or you hate them. Since the release of their first full length ‘Nothing beyond everything after’ the majority seem to be on the love side. The band seem to

DSTM brings Portsmouth a night or great post-hardcore and at the same time brings back some very old friends. Jairus are one of the most underated bands in the UK music scene today and always produce one hell of a show.
Jairus : http://jairus.bandcamp.com/
Jairus is made up of six individuals with a passion for sincere, energetic and forward-thinking music.
their music can be described as being extremely loud, energetic and most of all unique, with bands spanning many different genres often citing Jairus as being influential to their sound. Musically, Jairus share the energy of bands like At The Drive-In and Converge, with the sombre mood of bands such as The Cure, Joy Division and The National. The Jairus of 2011 play darker, heavier, and more beautiful music than they ever have before.
Ruin Everything: http://ruineverything.bandcamp.com/album/lioniser
Heavy, techy stuff from Portsmouth based bands. For fans of bands like Every Time I Die, Dillinger Escape Plan and Fall Of Troy. Featuring current members of Offender and former memebers of Cut The Blue Wire. These guys certainly know how to make a noise.
For This World Is Hollow and These Hands Have Touched The Sky: http://soundcloud.com/forthisworldishollow
Southamptons favourite screamo son’s. Over the past year they have gained a good following and have really developed their sound. The passion and emotion that goes into their music really comes acorss in their live shows so they are definately worth checking out
Noyo Mathis: http://noyomathis.bandcamp.com/
These Portsmouth youngsters are a bit of an unknown quality but their two track self titled EP is a great listen. It has that heavy twickly guitar tone that many topshelf records bands go for. They are definately a band worth checking out
Shipton: http://shipton.bandcamp.com/album/shipton
One of Portsmouth’s brightest new talents. We here at DSTM are a huge fan of Shipton. Since starting doing shows late last year he has gained a great following in Portsmouth and with new material coming soon things look set to blow up for this talent
